Wakura Youth Soccer Tournament in Kanazawa: Match Highlights Streamed in Vertical Format for Social Media!
From August 6 (Thu) to 10 (Mon), 2026, at the Wakura Youth Soccer Tournament in Kanazawa, Nippon TV delivered vertically formatted match highlights for social media using viztrick AiDi, with the cooperation of TV Kanazawa.
■What is the Wakura Youth Soccer Tournament?
The Kanazawa Festival, which began in 1983, was renamed the Ishikawa Youth Soccer Festival in 1987. Over the years, it has produced many prominent players, including members of Japan’s national teams. At the pinnacle of this prestigious competition, one of the largest youth soccer tournaments in Japan, is the Wakura Youth Soccer Tournament.
Although the tournament was held for many years in Noto Wakura Onsen, it has been staged at venues around Kanazawa City since the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
